A pharmaceutical chemist who taught himself quantum computing.
I started as a pharmaceutical chemist selling and commissioning chromatography systems — HPLC, GC-MS — at Kossodo SAC in Lima for pharma, food, and environmental clients. I learned the analytical stack from the instrument up.
From there I moved into cannabis quality control — co-founding Altitude Lab Solutions, a specialized cannabis testing laboratory with offices in Denver, Colorado and Lima, Peru, providing analytical testing for potency, pesticides, heavy metals, microbiology, and terpene profiling. In parallel I founded Greentech Solutions, a LATAM cannabis consulting firm advising operators on cultivation, licensing, and go-to-market strategy.
In 2021 I joined Eurofins Scientific — the world's largest quality control laboratory network — as Country Manager for Peru with full P&L responsibility across multiple service divisions. I spearheaded Eurofins' cannabis testing business across Latin America including Colombia, drove M&A target identification, and built strategic relationships with producers, regulators, and investors across the region.
In 2024 I went all-in on the most exciting bet of my life: teaching myself Python, machine learning, and quantum computing from scratch, then building a quantum-native drug discovery platform on IBM 156-qubit hardware. Today I run three companies — Molevera (BioQL), Bionics-AI, and Vibe Studio AI — all applying the same combination: pharma domain expertise, operator instinct, and frontier compute.
The combination founders actually need is rare: production AI/ML engineering, regulated-industry instinct, and a P&L operator's view of what ships and what doesn't.
